Namiki Yukari Cormorant
Namiki Yukari Cormorant fountain pen features the Cormorant flapping its wings in the air ready for its maiden flight. The cormorant motif is created using togidashi makie technique to create the charcoal burnished effect on the cormorant. On close scrutiny, you can see that the shades of blue on the features varies from one pen to another.
On the cap features the rocks again in taka makie and togidashi makie with gold dust sprinkles against the background. Each pen is fitted with a Mount Fuji motif 18kt gold nib which writes fabulously.
The entire pen is handcrafted by one of the best urushi artisan of the esteem Kokokai Studio of Namiki, Michifumi Kawakuchi. The Namiki Yukari Cormorant fountain pen is discontinued together with other pens like Namiki Tropical Fish, Namiki Chidori and Waves, Namiki Apricot Tree & Warbler pens.
