In the Russia of the Czars, Peter the Great wanted a unique gift for his wife: something the very sight of which would please her. The presence of a young Italian architect at his court, contributed to making the Czar’s noble dream come true. Thus was born the Summer Garden of Saint Petersburg to remind her every day of Peter’s deep love and affection for her. The elegance and magnificence of the Czar’s garden is reborn in this creation of the Academia line, named after the man who inspired it: Pietro il Grande. A fountain pen in Baltic amber embellished with 18K gold details and a precious ruby gemstone set in the cap band. The pen is signed by Boris Fjodoroff, a Russian artist who is specialized in ancient amber jewel restoration and now lives in Florence.
